Welcome to DFCI Designer Purse Bingo!
Designer Purse Bingo is an independent charitable fundraising event benefiting Dana-Farber Cancer Institute. These terms and conditions outline the rules and regulations for the use of DFCI Designer Purse Bingo's Website, located at https://www.designerpursebingo.org.
By accessing this website, we assume you accept these terms and conditions. Do not continue to use DFCI Designer Purse Bingo if you do not agree to take all of the terms and conditions stated on this page.
No Donation, Purchase, or Payment Required
No donation, purchase, or payment is required to participate in Designer Purse Bingo or to be eligible to win any prize.
Suggested donations support Dana-Farber Cancer Institute and are entirely voluntary.
Individuals who wish to participate without making a donation may contact the event organizer at juliefry73@gmail.com prior to the event to request complimentary registration, subject to venue capacity limitations.
Participation and eligibility to win prizes are not conditioned upon making a donation, purchasing merchandise, or otherwise providing consideration.
Event Registration
Advance registration is encouraged to assist with planning and venue capacity management. Organizers reserve the right to limit attendance based on venue capacity, safety requirements, or operational considerations.
Event Rules
Participants must follow all event instructions and rules announced by event organizers.
Organizers reserve the right to disqualify any participant engaging in disruptive, unsafe, fraudulent, or inappropriate conduct.
All decisions made by event organizers regarding gameplay, prize awards, and event administration are final.
Prizes
Prizes may include designer handbags, accessories, gift baskets, and other donated items.
Prize models, colors, styles, and values may vary from those displayed in promotional materials based on availability.
Prizes are non-transferable and may not be redeemed for cash except where required by law.
If a displayed prize becomes unavailable, organizers reserve the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value.
Donations and Refunds
Donations made to support the event are generally non-refundable except in cases of duplicate transactions, processing errors, or as otherwise required by law.
If the event is canceled and not rescheduled, organizers may determine an appropriate disposition of donated funds consistent with the charitable purpose of the event.
Event Cancellation or Changes
Organizers reserve the right to postpone, reschedule, modify, or cancel the event due to circumstances beyond their reasonable control, including venue issues, severe weather, public health concerns, safety concerns, or other unforeseen events.
Organizers are not responsible for travel, lodging, or other incidental expenses incurred by attendees.
Photography and Media Release
By attending the event, participants grant permission for their image, likeness, voice, and photograph to be captured and used by Designer Purse Bingo, Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, sponsors, and media outlets for promotional, fundraising, educational, and reporting purposes without additional compensation.
Individuals who do not wish to be photographed should notify event staff upon arrival.
Assumption of Risk
Participants voluntarily attend the event and assume all risks associated with attendance.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, participants release and hold harmless Designer Purse Bingo, event volunteers, sponsors, venue providers, Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, and their respective officers, directors, employees, and agents from claims arising from participation in the event, except where caused by gross negligence or willful misconduct.
Dana-Farber Relationship
Designer Purse Bingo is an independent fundraising event benefiting Dana-Farber Cancer Institute.
Dana-Farber Cancer Institute does not sponsor, administer, operate, or control the event and is not responsible for event operations, participant conduct, prize administration, or website content.
